fund rais for needy doughter

Both my daughters love playing hide-&-seek. Even though they mess their room in the process, we enjoy watching them search for each other. My 8-year-old daughter is Amitha and she’s been forced to stop playing the game after she was diagnosed with this dreadful tumor in her brain - Pineoblastoma. 6 months ago, at first I was amused when I saw her walking in a criss-cross manner on the footpath. However, when I realised she was struggling to balance, I immediately took her to the doctor. After multiple tests, the ailment revealed itself and it left us devastated. Despite the completion of one surgery, her tumor started to grow again, and this time at a faster pace. I need a whopping Rs. 6 lakh for her second surgery and chemotherapy. Only then will she escape danger, however, I’m struggling to fund such a mammoth amount. The hospital is 50 kilometers away from our home and we’ve been staying there now. The thought of an operation in her brain leaves me numb. Her head is not even fully grown yet. I keep praying to God to protect her during the operation as it is an intensive operation that involves high risks. Please help me save my young angel.

About the Fundraiser

Both my daughters love playing hide-&-seek. It is their daily ritual to play the game, once they are back from school. Even though they mess their room in the process, we enjoy watching them search for each other. My younger daughter is Amitha and she’s been forced to stop playing the game after she was diagnosed with a dreadful tumor. She’s been in the hospital as she needs to be operated soon. I feel like she’s been forced to hide from her elder sister for a while now.

My wife and I are at the hospital supporting Amitha. She was just 8 years of age when she was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma. It is a type of tumor that grows in the brain. 6 months ago, at first I was amused when I saw her walking in a criss-cross manner on the footpath. However, when I realised she was struggling to balance, I immediately took her to the doctor. The problem didn't stop there. After consulting multiple doctors we learned that she suffers from this dreadful ailment. Despite the completion of one surgery, her tumor started to grow again, and this time at a faster pace. I need a whopping Rs. 6 lakh for her second surgery and chemotherapy. Only then will she escape danger, however I’m struggling to fund such a mammoth amount.

This father is struggling to pay for his daughter’s brain surgery. You can help him save his daughter’s life by donating to his fundraiser.
My name is James. I’ve stopped working because I need to support my daughter at the hospital. I worked as a salesman in a store and earned a meagre income of Rs. 12,000 per month. However, I’m not earning right now as we used to get paid on a daily basis. I’m solely responsible for my family of 6 members. During my daughter’s first surgery, I took loans from various friends worth Rs. 4 lakh. However, the money spent on that operation remained as a liability as all our efforts failed. The tumor started to regrow. Right now, I need an additional Rs. 6,00,000 to complete the payment of her operation.

My daughter was earlier a very active child. She used to take part in various activities, singing being her favourite. She would roll up a newspaper and use it like a mic to sing her favourite song ‘Jimiki kamal.’ Her elder sister on the other side would dance to her song. However, now my daughter is quiet. In order to cheer her up, I play the song on my phone and she just smiles. She’s stopped going to school because of her operation.

With your help in the form of donations, Amitha can escape heart ailment and lead a better life.

The hospital is 50 kilometers away from our home and we’ve been staying there now. The thought of an operation in her brain leaves me numb. Her head is not even fully grown yet. I keep going to the close-by Church asking God to protect her during the operation as it is an intensive operation that involves high risks. I’m struggling financially to fund her operation and I need your help in supporting my daughter.

You can help James by donating to his fundraiser on Ketto here.
